Sawdust toilet almost ready to be christened!

I am sorry, but you're not correct. PFAS is a man-made chemical. Not man-made from your poop. They say sludge in the article as if it is poop, but that isn't what they're talking about. The "sludge" that has been used on the farmlands is usually the leftovers from making the chemical (waste leftover). My town is a town hit hard by PFAS and some people can't drink the drinking water. The same "sludge" was dumped on our farm fields in my town and has polluted many wells. It is a serious problem where I live. We have a lot of people with immune diseases here and cancer. This chemical is on packaging wrappers (usually the stuff used to wrap burgers at fast food restaurants), on your frying pans to make them none stick, and any time a huge fire happens it is used to put out the fires.

Most people that are affected by it are fire fighter's and often Military bases. You probably have it in your system as well. It is scary stuff because it is a forever chemical and they don't know how to clean it up. We have no way of breaking it down. Many states have stopped allowing this chemical to be used to put out fires as well (California). The crappy part about it is no chemical compares to putting out huge fires. Companies are working on solving this issue (fire suppression).
