There is no Zelda time line save for the actual few direct sequels in the series

As I have already elaborated on to multiple people in this very thread, you're full of shit.

Let me count the number of main Zelda titles that do not have a built in direct connection to another game.

-Minish Cap/Four Swords/Four Swords Adventures have direct connection to each other, but not any other game

That's it. That's literally it. SS is obviously written to come first. OOT is obviously directly before Majoras Mask. Wind Waker says it's after OOT. Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks say they're after Wind Waker/Each other. Link to the Past's opening features the war and sages from OOT. Link's Awakening was made as a sequel to LTTP. Zelda 1 and Zelda 2 are obviously written to go together. Twilight Princess tells you it's after OOT. Zelda 1 and 2 are relatively standalone but still relevant to this point because they show us that since 1987 direct connections have existed between games.

Placement of Zelda 1 is somewhat arbitrary, yes. Placement of the Four Swords games is somewhat arbitrary, yes. But every other game in the series has a direct connection handed to you on a platter in its story.

I am not actually looking for a mario timeline. It's called a joke. But this thing people are doing, where they get angry that other people like the idea of cohesive lore in a video game WHICH HAS HAD COHESIVE INTENDED LORE FOR 30 YEARS is beyond ridiculous!
