Fun fact: the story of Noah's ark is prominent in Armenian cultural history, since the ark supposedly made landfall on Mount Ararat, even though today the mountain is on the Turkish side of the border. The mountain is pictured on the coat of arms, as well as coins.

Interestingly, the Black Sea was a dry basin that flooded in prehistory, one of many interesting connections between Armenia and early Christian history.
