[Serious] For those who are religious, what was the "ah-ha" moment that "solidified" you in your faith?

I am a terrible singer but love to do it. I sang all the time as a child but was the only girl to not make choir and couldn't couldnt a tune in a bucket. I went to a huge religious conference with live music and sang but sometimes people would turn to look at me because I'm off key. So I was quiet. Ashamed. Embarrassed. Stopped singing even though it felt like my heart was bursting with song. At this conference (thousands of people) I went to the prayer part where one of their scholars prays for you after a two minute introduction. She closes her eyes and after a moment of silence asked me "Are you a singer?". No, I told her, not remotely. "That's weird," she told me. "He is telling you to sing. That he loves it when you sing. You're supposed to sing".

Fuck that was intense.
