[Serious]Religious people of Reddit, what are your stories where your prayers visibly got answered?

The amount of times my prayers have been answered is substantial. There are two times that I can vividly remember specific prayers being answered at the exact time I was praying.

We were waiting to do some missionary work overseas. We were so ready to go - everything was ready - except the country where we were going was being really difficult about the visas. We had been waiting and waiting but, to be frank, not really praying about it actively. We don't always think of prayer as an option as quickly as we should. Anyway - we thought of it - we got down on our knees in the living room to pray specifically about the visa situation for as long as we could and about a minute in the telephone rang. I was annoyed that I was finally praying and then phone rang. It was about the visas - and they had been issued just then.

The second time was a lot later. I had done some things to really put our marriage on the rocks and I was yelling at God in my journal - asking him WHY?!? Why did he let me do that - why did he make me the way he did - why did he allow me to hurt Mrs 419er so much - Why Why Why. Then suddenly - right in the middle of my writing/ranting I heard the audible voice of God in my right ear - one of only two times that has ever happened - and he said "Because I love you."

I wrote it down - but I didn't understand it. Later that day I was walking from one building at my company to another and I was praying and asking him "but what about Mrs 419er? Why did you let me hurt her so much?" And he said "Don't worry about her. She'll be okay. I love her more than you do."

That was pretty much all I needed to know that there was a road to reconciliation for us.
