[Serious]What's your in-laws from Hell story?

Let's see.

Thought I was trying to get out of picking her up at the airport because I suggested that we ('we' being my MIL, my fiancée and I) go out to eat when her plane arrived. I have no idea how she came to this conclusion.

I'm not Christian but my fiancée was when we first started dating. It's been two years, and my fiancée finally decides to talk to me about her lack of faith. I've never once made that a central part of our relationship or a topic of discussion unless she asked for my point of view. After MIL finds this out, and after she guilt-trips my SO for not seeing some extended family over thanksgiving (whom she nor my fiancée have seen in a decade), MIL claims that my fiancée's heart has 'gotten colder' and that it's a symptom of 'losing one's faith'. Being that she didn't know of my SO's unbelief, it was a pretty obvious dig at me.

My MIL actively defends her son (my BIL) for calling me gay because I supported gay rights. I had been dating my fiancée for about a year at the time. My BIL also came into our new home while I was away picking up more stuff to bring in to confront my SO about a supposed Tinder account I have. He was sure I was cheating. I had an active Tinder like three years ago (well before my SO and I got together) and deleted it well before we met. Tinder also tells you the last time someone was on the app (in the case that I didn't delete it or something).

When my SO and BIL lived together, he accused me of presenting myself to his girlfriend when she walked into my SO's bedroom and I was asleep on top of the blanket beside my SO. I was wearing briefs for one, and wtf is she coming into our room at 6am on a Saturday for anyway?
