[Serious] Is it wrong for cisgender males not to want to date trans women? Why or why not?

I think it’s okay for people to have preferences. No one should be forced to date someone they’re not attracted to! And likewise, no one should have to date someone who isn’t really attracted to them.

I do think that a lot of preferences based on cis/trans status or race are based on negative stereotypes that you’ve picked up without realizing it. Trans women have such a wide range appearance-wise — Kim Petras and Laverne Cox look nothing alike — that I’m not really sure why you’d rule them all out as a group.

So I don’t think you’re a bad person for not wanting to date a trans person, but you might want to do some introspection as to why you don’t.
