I think SAO is pretty good overall (6.5/10) but pacing is technically horrible.

They actually got out of SAO within first 12 episodes which should have been atleast 50-60 episode long.

Then there is the fact that Kirito just keeps attracting women left and right despite being in relationship with Asuna for EP 4....Monogatari also does this but Araragi is actually really loyal to Senjougahara and all characters are more or less self aware about their flirting towards Araragi and mean it as a joke.

Despite consider best couple in all list everywhere in the world, Asuna and Kirito are probably one of the most forced relationship I have ever seen. They don't grow, learn or play the game in front of viewers eyes as there is timeskip and lot of things not shown and all of a sudden you see them all lovey-dovey. The entire idea of Yui being their daughter is fucking creepy, Kirito (16) and Asuna (17) and Yui looks between 8-10. She even calls them Mama and Papa.

Then ofcourse the OPness of Kirito and Ass-pulls.
