Sharing Saturday #282

Addendum: this really is a summary, so I left out a lot of subtle details from my flagrant overthinking over the last few days. I'm spammy enough as it is.

To some extent, it's a relief to logically pin myself under the understanding that I will need to perform world generation before I can close the system. Because I had been trying to figure out how to allow the player generate content from nothing and, even looked at in terms of being a sandbox, that turned out to be rather hard. I had nothing for the player character to react off of.

Point being that it gets much easier to when I have a few game pieces added just because; without concern for their cause.

For example, even a skyblock Minecraft modpack starts with a single tree, which is itself made up with a dirt tile, several wood tiles, and foliage tiles, three things without which the scenario cannot continue. (A scenario which is far from a closed system, and not really what I want to make.)
