Should Does who died by suicide be left alone? Is it morally right to identify those who wished to be left anonymous? (And a rant.)

The family gets to decide to release information because the Doe belongs to their family. The family gets to decide if they want to remain anonymous or allow people to have access to information that can have devastating consequences for the family. I think the reason why people are downvoting you is because it seems like you aren't understanding that this isn't a story or a narrative but someone's life. I'm sure that there are reasons for why Lyle ended his life and maybe they are interesting reasons, but it's not a story or a tale to be told, but something that is private and intimate and doesn't belong on the internet if the people who raised him aren't comfortable sharing it. We don't have the right to ask strangers why their loved ones killed themselves just because we are curious.
