Should the man be present for the birth of his child? (1962 opinions)

I have never felt the same sense of love and joy as I felt when my kids were brought into this world.

I wasn't hung up on things being messy or gross. I wasn't afraid of anyone getting hurt or doing something wrong. I was awestruck by the process and how everything progressed.

When my kids finally arrived, the love and happiness that overtook me were some of the greatest emotions I had ever felt in my entire life.

No way in hell I'd trade those feelings and memories for ANYTHING. If we weren't done having kids, I'd definitely be in that room for every single one, and Dads who don't take the opportunity to go through that experience are severely missing out.
