Should i move to L.A?

You're only young enough to dodge responsibility once in your life - so, do it.

While I agree that folk should go chase crazy dreams, I think they should seriously self-assess if they truly know what the reality might be and choose carefully, especially when there's a large time/money commitment...

Eg OP and screenwriting? I would never criticise a "dream", but what honestly is the reality... is it just same thing different place? Computer screen? Small expensive apartment, traffic? Don't give up your dayjob?

Eg you, you played music and travelled the country with your friends! It had tough moments, but the core was actual music!

Me, I travelled the world in the adventure industry... Climbing, kayaking, etc. (Still sporadically doing it actually, writing this right now jetlagged at 4am in a tent on a mountain in Europe)...

If I had kids I'd put them on a plane to SE Asia, Europe, Africa, New Zealand, USA... let them WWOOF or teach english or work in a ski resort or summer camp, try acting, or just wander...

Screenwriting just seems like such an odd dream! To me it seems like a career, not the sort of times that you look back on and think "Wow, I'm so glad I spent my twenties doing that!"...?
