For the past few days, I have spoken with a few FMF-ers as well as swapped some messages with the FMF moderators about providing a frugal marketplace solution for our FMF weekly B/S/T threads. I’ve been an active FMF member and Grailed seller for a while (profile link) and share many of the same concerns as a lot of you. As a reaction to recent changes and in light of recent conversations, I customized a B/S/T community marketplace on Panjo for our FMF community: www.panjo.com/p/malefashion.

I’ve been working on Panjo for about half a year, where I’ve been managing all of our awesome communities. Our team of enthusiasts focuses on delivering the best possible tailored marketplace experience for each community.

As a FMF-er, here are some of the benefits and reasons why other communities have chosen to use Panjo and why I think our community could benefit from using it:

• An active customer support team
• Calculated Shipping Options for sellers determined based off buyer location
• Sort/filter across multiple fields at once (name + size + category)
• Beyond PayPal’s standards of buyer/selling protection, Panjo also offers an added layer of protection in covered cases (ex: item arrives damaged)
• Ability to create “Want-to-Buy” Listings (to connect you with sellers that have the piece you’re looking for!)
• Multiple payment methods (PayPal vs. Credit Card)
• Being able to purchase an item with/without an account (to quickly cop that item)
• Sellers can see how many people are watching their item and how many views they’ve received
• Shareable Reddit-formatted markups for your listings so that you can easily copy/paste your listings during our FMF weekly B/S/T threads
• You can search listings based off location and negotiate picking-up locally

TL;DR Been active in both FMF/Grailed for a few years but have also been working on a marketplace for other communities on the side.
