single wall tents possible in very wet climates? (Norway)

I have a Lunar Solo and a Triplex that we use when my wife joins me. We hike in the Appalachians mostly, sometimes camping on grassy balds.

On both tents, if I / we sleep with one door (on the Lunar Solo) or two doors (on the Triplex) open, we don't get any condensation. If the doors are completely closed, I get a thin film of condensation in the Lunar Solo, and a bit more in the Triplex.

We have never had enough condensation to consider it a problem. The Triplex (and the Duplex) is designed so that any condensation that flows down the roof of the tent exits through the mesh, but for us it generally doesn't flow at all. Nor does it drop onto our bag, so it's not really an issue.
