[SOTC][Reviews] Vintage Omega Seamaster 176.007 to Timex Weekender

Omega Seamaster 176.007 My grail watch. Legendary Cal 1040 auto-chrono movement operating at 28,800 bph. I bought it because I think I think it is beautiful and no other watch really looks like it. The minute and second chrono hands are on the big dial making it more functional and funky than your typical 3 sub-dial chrono. The lume on the hands dont light up any more but for a 44 year old watch I am very happy with it.

G-Shock GW5000 This watch is a no frills invincible, set it and forget about it, digital watch. Solar powered, auto-syncing, auto-illuminating. The watch is only made in Japan and it costs quite a bit more than your typical g shock, but I like the soft band, high contrast screen, black (minimal purple tint) solar panel. The buttons are kind of hard to push but maybe that makes them last longer?

Seiko SKX007 I was pretty unhappy with this watch. The finishing is pretty low quality. The hands weren't aligned with the 12 o'clock when I got it, the bezel has so slop in it, it wasn't aligned right, the chapter ring wasn't aligned right. The movement is kind of clunky, keeps about +20s/day. No hacking, no sapphire crystal. The lume is incredible and the watch is beautiful, but I think this watch gets overhauled. I do like that is probably the most customizable watch out there. I dabbled with changing out the hands, dial, and chapter ring but ended up going back almost back to stock.
