[Image] theoretical maximum number of hours a brand’s watchmakers could possibly spend with each watch.

I have toured the ALS factory, have bought 4 of them new and still own 3. While, if were being real, anything over 150€ for a thing that tells time is a luxury item and stands in no relation of actual use and money spent, I do think Lange is well "worth" the pretty penny they charge for their watches. Being German I may be a bit biased, but the simple, always very legible "no frills" simplicity, without leaning into Bauhaus is something I love. From the Finishing department, to even the High Horology department, everyone was lovely and excited to show of their watchmaking. Watching a man, who's sole job it is to assemble the hilariously intricate "pour le merite" chain links, and take utmost pride in his craft was amazing. The service, if your watch needs one, is slow but exceedingly friendly an good. the prices are high, and availability of certain pieces slow, but youre gonna see that with any brand that doesnt happen to crank out 6 or 7 figures of pieces annually. 10/10 can recommend.
