So I’ve just recently gotten into watches and I started off my collection with a submariner. That’s all I have at the moment. I have been holding off and waiting for a sport band Daytona (preferably rose gold), but my local Rolex retailer just sent me this.

I love the looks of it minus the diamonds. My retailer told me it would be a good piece to add to the collection and it’ll build up my rep with my retailer. I think it’s a huge plus that the bezel is white gold too. It’s also a great size, 41mm. Price is $12,200.

I’d love to know your thoughts. Should I hold off on this piece and wait for the Daytona? Or should I add it to the collection?
