[Spoilers All] So I finished Inquisition and DLC for the first time...

I only just recently finished the game too and I agree most of what you've said. The tl;dr of it is that you're pretty much right about everything in my opinion, except for the companions. They're pretty well hashed out if you listen to all their dialogues and do their personal quests. They aren't as interactive and fun as the Origins/2 ones were and because of DA:I's pacing issues. They're not as interesting as they could be because you can exhaust all dialogue options so quickly and not progress the main story that prompts more dialogue.

If they could go back and do DA:I for me again, I'd want them to put in a better tactics system (back to Origins/2), get rid of one or two zones (you really didn't need The Forbidden Oasis or even the Hissing Wastes really. Like really, you didn't. You also didn't need the Astro things or the Shard quests. Like, you don't need more fetch quests in this game) and make the other zones worthwhile. Like maybe have a constant capture the keep/outpost system that makes the war table a bit more interesting. You have to place troops in certain spots, if you don't - the points get captured by the opposing factions and that's when the inquisitor and co have to raid another keep/outpost. The more you invest in force/secrets/politics - the easier/harder certain points would be to keep and manage. Maybe implement a treasury system for the inquisition where you had to throw a ball to raise money and have 'play the game more' like that. I mean, those two ideas off the top of my head would have been better than 2 zones and a million more fetch quests. Make the actual main plot a bit more intricate and interactive with a lot better pacing. I really want to be punished (it's probably why I like TIB so much) if I fuck up too. It's the whole world and it really felt like no matter what I did, I was going to be okay and I felt that way the entire game. I didn't feel as though anything was going to go right for me in DA:O and half the time it really didn't for the FoH. Sure, the inquisition had some hard times, but it felt too easy to get over (inb4 Solas).
