(Spoilers all) My advance review of Season 5, Episodes 1-4

Is there someone in Winterfell who could recognize her?

Could be. Not a chance I would think Littlefinger would be dumb enough to risk. Whatever, lets pretend there is some handwaving and for some reason it makes sense to send her to Winterfell.

And she isn't in Jayne's situation at all, even if she marries Ramsay. As I said, Jayne was a prisoner; Alayne is a distinguished guest, with a dozen Knights at her back

None of that really matters. Im talking about the reasoning and seemingly stupidity of giving away whats hes worked for this entire time. And then add on the fact hes giving his prize away to the exact people that murdered his love? Im not buying it at all.

Though Alayne is the niece of the Lord Paramount, Littlefinger still has to sweeten the deal so that marrying Alayne the heir of Winterfell makes sense for Roose; an army when he most needs it, with Stannis marching towards him, THAT makes sense for Roose.

None of this makes sense. Littlefinger wouldnt be sure of Sansa loyalty. Especially enough to send her to a rival. Oh and one that murdered his love. Im not seeing what Littlefinger gains at all. In face he loses.

Dont get me wrong. Not all D&D OC is great. I LOVED Tywin/Arya. But you know why? It made perfect sense and turned out to be great scenes. For that very reason Ill withhold judgement until I see it because the show has my trust but right now its not looking good. Im afraid of exactly what the OP said.

The show has an uphill battle to justify an invented plot point that 99% of book readers are predisposed to think is truly insane. Do they succeed? Well, they gamely try, and they make use of some existing divergences in show continuity to present their case. Yet it seems clear to me that what happened in this plotline is that D&D considered some characters’ AFFC/ADWD plotlines weak and filled with unmemorable supporting casts, so they decided to spice things up by just shoving them together, with the justifications being tacked on afterwards.

Always been my greatest fear and now someone told me its coming. Not trying to be a dick. Ive just been told what I fear is coming for me.
