[SPOILERS] So, Part II: why I loved it but also why i didn't.

I think there are a lot of people who can’t come to terms with the fact that this is a story that you play, not a story you create. So you don’t control the decision Ellie makes for example.

Secondly, I think a big part of what makes Abbey work in this game is that you play as her. Unfortunately, by not playing the game you do miss out on that interactive experience. The fight in the theater is very unique because of the fact that you’re controlling Abbey at that point and you can sympathize with both characters.

Lastly, I think the story structure is necessary because you need some time with Abbey and start to get a better feel for her rather than alternating back and forth.
