Sorry to hear about that. As some posters have mentioned, raising kids on 2022 wages aren't easy.

Looks like you are willing to look for solutions. At the risk of suggesting something you've considered/actioned already - have you run your fortnight and annual income/expenses through a budgeting spreadsheet? PM if you can't find one online and want me to share ours with you.

I know a few people have benefited from reading 'The Barefoot Investor'. You might be able to borrow one from the library or find an ebook version online.

Don't think it's in my place to tell you what you should/shouldn't be doing, ultimately you and your partner should decide what your goals are and what can/can't be cut back on.
