Am I crazy to switch jobs right now?

I took a role with a company about 2.5 months ago. It's ... not quite what I was hoping for. Politics, product isn't interesting in the traditional sense and culture fit isn't great. On the plus side, I'm managing some people and have a good amount of responsibility/ability to manage the product as a business.

The new opportunity has less responsibility, but the product is more in line with my interests and I think the cultural fit is going to be much better.

Both companies are mid-size/small - between 250M-500M revenue, with global footprint. The former is a public company, the latter PE backed. Probably equivalent risk for both in terms of job security over the next year.
