Star Magpie charged with indecent assault

That person made it sound like it was 3 things but it was two. First incident was about 10 years ago. Players were having a wild night with a 17yo girl, which was legal and she initially consented, even as wrong as that is alone, when one player was alone having sex with the girl, the players switched out without her realising, which was sexual assault obviously. Not that this excuses it or explains it or makes it right, it doesn't, but contextual information is that girl was quite mentally unstable at that time and really pursued anyone with a shred of fame and the whole thing was a mess.

Also football tradition with some clubs is to have a "mad monday" after the season is over where they drink and let loose. Somebody hired a dwarf to impersonate the coach at the time and one of the players drunkenly flicked a lighter and put it to the dwarf. No serious injuries, just a dumb thing to do.

Both of those stories were brought up ad nauseam for like 6 or 7 years after even though they were isolated incidents.

The Saints have a good culture now, don't worry.
