The state of USPS

LISTEN HERE. I worked for the USPS for 7 years. As a regular clerk, the hours WILL eat you up inside. At the time I quit, I was at 4 weeks vacation a year, $25 an hour, with pretty solid seniority. All that shit wasn't worth it any longer when I was forced to work 10 hours 6 days a week while trying to raise TODDLERS. I went through a very dark time working there and felt anger, exhaustion, depression take over my life. I decided to leave even if it meant less money and starting over from zero elsewhere. Now I work a M-F, solid 8 hour day with all holidays off and benefits on day one. It's still not perfect, but it beats not having to deal with 10-12 hours shifts and ridiculous management. Management is the fucking worst I've ever experienced at USPS.
