KU is really frustrating me. I completely understand that they can’t control this situation, but they have been downright rude every time I or one of my coworkers have spoken to them. They also repeatedly told me my power would be back by 10:00 pm and midnight respectively, yet here we are at 8:00 am the next day and the power is still off. I really wouldn’t be annoyed if they hadn’t told me power was coming back soon and, when I asked about froze and refrigerated perishables, they told me it would be back on before it mattered. I’m going to have to throw out everything in my fridge and freezer, when I could have taken it to a relative with power yesterday if they hadn’t told me to do otherwise. Really infuriating start to my day. Had to go to McDonald’s to charge my phone to look up how much longer I could expect, and now it doesn’t even give me an estimated time for my area
