Stocks all going up or down 5- 5.2%. Something doesn't seem right.

True. Have you noticed that some brokers or perhaps at the behest of the SEC or big fund managers, they are putting constraints on that, which cut the retail traders out of potential large swings? I put in limit orders before the market opens of some of the volatile ones, and if they do swing large, I make a little money. My broker doesn't allow that anymore. It's a tight box around me, but I can see the volatility and volume. Not a tight box around the big players, just us little people. It cuts us out of that volatility, but even more it provides greater predictability for the big players. In short, this is not a free market anymore.... if it ever really was, but now, it's pretty damned blatant. They're managing the retail traders.
