I had this accommodation when I tested while pregnant so I could use the bathroom mid-section. I had 60 minutes stop the clock, so I could stop the clock as many times as I wanted up to 60 minutes total break time. You can pause it and just sit at your desk quietly (but no looking at notes), or you can pause it, raise your hand, leave to use the restroom, and sign back in. As long as you’re within the time limit that you got approved for, it doesn’t take away from test time. However it needs to be a pre-approved accommodation. If you didn’t go through the long approval process with a doctor’s note, you won’t get stop the clock breaks.
