Hi. I'm late to this thread, didn't read your whole post history and am generally not eloquent. But I'm gonna ignore my better judgement and post anyway.

There's a lot of people in this sub flinging shit at you for having supported Trump in the first place. They have every right to say it, and I'm not gonna say they're wrong.

That being said, it's a good thing for you to realize that intolerance and hatred of other people is bad. Just because it took personal attacks against you for you to come to this realization doesn't mean that the realization is somehow wrong.

It takes tremendous strength of character to walk away from bigotry. In deciding to accept yourself and accept other people, you make yourself a better person, and the world a better place. You've taken your first step on a difficult path; I urge you to keep walking.

Also p.s. please read at least one news source other than facebook/fox/breitbart, those guys are professionals at warping worldviews, it's really unhealthy.
