Taiwan successfully managing COVID-19 outbreak

I'm not in the country, but 奶奶 is a Japanese professor and she's still going on about how learning is important and dodging medical questions. It'd be so her to insist on doing something she shouldn't, by herself, so that she doesn't have to bother anyone else for help. I worry about this so much.

But then the interesting question is - would I rather her be in the hands of the Taiwanese or U.S. health system right now? I'm not sure. Does it speak more to the cracks in the U.S. system, or is it a reflection of how far Taiwan has advanced? I think maybe both. Either way, it's a stess-relieving thought.

... But I can still just see her not wanting to bother my cousins and carefully ambling out to buy vegetables or something asdklfjhgs
