IL Gov. Pritzker (D) Lists Gun Stores as ‘Essential,’ Exempts Them from Forced Shutdown

The virus IS an issue, and people need to protect themselves from it, but...the bigger issue is the break down of society. The two legged menace is a very real concern during these times. It's a shame it's come to this, but castigating people for finally coming to the realization that this may not end well at the 11th hour is pretty shitty, IMO. Sure, they "should" have anticipated this years ago, but when you have half (or more) the country screaming there is no need for a gun, what do you expect them to do? And, per your logic, it's ok for grocery store employees to risk infection and death, but not gun store employees? As far as medical staff, my best friend of 40 years is one, and he's resigned to the fact he WILL catch it. So like I said, For the most part, the virus isn't going to the problem for the VAST majority of the population. Millions MAY die, but the humans are the viral threat you need most to worry about. So stocking up/first time buyers are only doing what is right, which is hedging bets against the main threat, which is other people. Vilify them all you want, but at the end of the day, who cares what you think when you have some asshole kicking in your door because you bought more TP than him?
