If you see the Syrian refugee crisis we all are in fear and pity for the poor children who suffer most in these dramatic times. How will this children ever gain hope and a possibility of a better future. There seems no way. But there is!
The key to a better future and hope for these children is to educate them. How to speak a new language! How to read! How to write! e.g. But in this war torn countries you can't build schools. In Refugee Camps there are no schools but teachers desperately needed. New ways of teaching needs to be developed so that teaching can be done without a classroom in these countries and refugee camps. The situation in these countries and refugee camps are dramatic. Many children had no chance to go to school for years and the children need psychological treatments. The head of teachers4refugees is Maarit Snellman. She is an expert for teaching and for new teaching technologies which is needed for this situation. She was born in Finland and was one of the first who came to help the refugees in Greece. But how? @Maarit Snellmann followed this urgent need and came the long way from Finland to Greece to help these poor children who are stranded there. What these children lack the most in these refugee camps is a psychological support and schools. With @Teacher4Refugee @Maarit Snellmann developed a concept to solve this problem. If we want to diminish terrorism and radicalization we need to give these children a proper education and an environment which prohibit and heal traumatic encounters. Maarit became part of #Teacher4Refugees and funded this all with her own money. Now it is time to give the children the support they need and help Maarit to continue her good work to help these children.
