I'm glad you like the emblem! I've only just been getting back into drawing after a decade of..well, not drawing. So basic stuff is pretty much all I can do!

Well Roses & Thorns(the story that features Team CAIN alongside RWBY) is already up and four chapters in, but I recommend putting off reading it until I roll out some updates to it. The updates actually came about because of me posting the characters to this sub. They've given me a ton of ideas, and I'm fixing some discrepancies in their appearances.(Such as Amber wearing a standard uniform and only pieces of her armor)

There are some crazy similarities between Iris and Violet for both of them being created separately, but as you said, also some sharp differences. I think you describe their interaction perfectly! Iris would love being friends with Violet, but would also try to steal the hat away and give her a stern 'Be proud of who you are!' talk. All while poor Violet sits there going 'I just like how it looks.. shrug'

Hmm, I felt like I should have expanded upon her semblance more instead of focusing on one of the main ways she uses it. She can use it to seduce opponents, like Yang did, and lull them into a sense of false security. But, in practice, it's more like she stuns them, forcing them into a daydream so she can line up a free shot.(She actually uses it on Yang in the first chapter)

However, that is not the limit of her semblance at all. If a teammate is hurt, she rushes in and causes as much commotion as she can, then activates her ability. It works like a taunt would in a video game. If something wants to attack her in the first place, and is in turn hit by Lull, it's downright forced to attack her then. It can also work in the opposite, directing people or even Grimm to attack targets of her choosing.

It allows her to control the flow of battle, which is an insanely powerful ability if implemented without boundaries. But, that's why I made it so victims of the semblance have to be somewhat complicit with the effect(as in it can't make someone do something they don't want to). So if she tried to force a bunch of Grimm coming at her to attack someone else the Grimm didn't know was there, it would either cost an insane amount of energy, or just not work. Hope that explains it a bit better!
