Tennessee bill seeks marriage class for 'one man and one woman,' protects clerks

It's funny to me that they oppose actual sensible legislation like medical marijuana, legalized marijuana, even having a study done to see if it would be a net-postive, etc . Yet they seem so determined to fix an issue, that frankly was never a problem.

I remember pre-2016 when there was a panic about people marrying their dogs, and ironically pedophiles marrying children, etc - and yet here we are, 6 years later where the world hasn't imploded. God hasn't smited us like Sodom & Gamora, and the "gays" aren't having public blood orgys dedicated to Satan

Just more pandering to an evangelical voter-base that's only getting more and more extreme. Unfortunately the days of the moderate republican who is pragmatic, and doesn't want to interfere in people's lives seems to be over in Tennessee. A few months ago there was an actual book-burning in Tennessee, it seems like in a decade at this current rate, the state will be sponsoring them.
