Terrible prerelease experience, not sure where to go from here.

I feel more in awe of her than feeling sore for losing.

Why? Is it really that amazing to you that a women could be better than you or is that just poor word choice?

I may even fall in love with her for being better than me.

I get that Magic skill can make someone seem more attractive and that's cool. Be into that if you like. However, if that's all it takes for you to "fall in love" with someone, then either you don't really know what love is or you fall in love way too easily. Either way, be careful. Don't confuse love for lust.

We (or me) generally stereotype that this is a man's game.

You should stop doing that. Magic is a game for anyone and everyone. Even remotely considering otherwise is part of the problem. Yes, it is predominantly played by men, but it is in no way a "man's game."

They are such lovely beings.

Please don't talk like this. For starters, the word "beings" here is pretty condescending. Try "people." Moreover, the whole statement is pretty wack. I get it, you like women. Same here. However, talking about them in general terms like this is also sexism. It's not a mean thing to say, but you're still trying to apply a single characteristic to all women. Removing all of that kind of thinking is important for truly eliminating sexism. Please make a conscious effort not to think like this. You'll be helping.

TL;DR I think you mean well, but there's some subtle sexism going on with the way you're thinking. I suggest you reevaluate how you view women.
