Considering every other Michigan State fan who responded to this agreed with the majority of what I wrote, I don't think any of what I wrote is ridiculous or merely conjecture.

I write about how MSU is not receiving any hype from their success outside of the Midwest, and you point to celebrations in Detroit and along I-94 to prove me wrong. This literally supports what I just said.

First, I haven't heard any noise about the citrus bowl win and I live in Ann Arbor.

We're overwhelmingly the favorite "dark horse" team to chose for a playoff appearance, and this happens so much so that we can't even be considered a dark horse. You don't think murdering Florida has anything to do with that?

Dude, you keep saying that what I wrote is conjecture. There are no official sources on this. Dantonio will never come out and say "X,Y, and Z" are issues with this program, and we're having trouble addressing them. All we can do is look in from an outsider's perspective and use a little reasoning. Saying that media hype helps a program seems like a fairly self-evident statement, and if you're going to say that's merely a conjecture, then any sports discussion with you is going to be dead on arrival. We know nothing for sure, but we can make reasonable inferences.

MSU is not recruiting as well as they should be. You've been a more successful program than Georgia, LSU, USC, Texas, etc. and yet you guys still aren't pulling in great classes. There is a problem. And saying that Dantonio likes to "focus on his guys instead of the five-star talent" is more ridiculous than anything I've said. You guys run a vanilla pro-style offense; just about any 5 star player would fit in to your system.

Saying that you guys a priori don't have a shot with five-star talent presumes a fundamental flaw in the program, which is what OPs question addresses. So, if you're going to say that, how is anything I've written ridiculous?
