This Thai restaurant is a no tipping restaurant.

I've been a waiter, and I can't imagine relying on tips to get my minimum income.

Unless minimum wage for servers/bartenders becomes about $25 an hour you can forget most of us ever coming to work for far less than we already make. I sacrifice pretty much every single weekend and holiday in order to make $25-$35 an hour bartending. Do you think for one second I would do this for a wage from my employer that is $10 an hour less? Ha, I'd just get any other job that is far less demanding and doesn't destroy my weekends.

Tips are just extras, and are more meant to be a buffer for when a table leaves without paying and I pay my boss back from my tips.

Since when do servers pay for a walkout?
