Is there a misunderstanding of how brig should be played?

Characters play differently at different "scales" of combat, in a very small room 1v1 Brig is a killing machine (and should act like it, aggressively moving toward enemies), in a large open area with lots of bullets flying around she's slow, squishy paper (and should act like it, seeking cover when there's a lot of fire, etc).

The most overlooked way to create space is to deny it to those who would deny it to you, i.e., if there's an enemy Bastion, the most effective way to create space is to kill the Bastion or at least make him move, rather than try and keep a shield up against him.

As such, Brig's space creation/preservation(close up, durable)---synergizes well with long-range DPS's space creation/deterrence(long range). Imagine a donut (the space Brig denies/penalizes), and a donut hole (the space long-range DPS/Orisa deny/penalize). Synergy!
