I don’t understand how people are torb mains

As a Torb main, I'd say the turret for me is usually nothing more then a deterrent I sit off in a dark corner to keep people from pushing too far up without thinking it thru. On the other side of things, if you can manage a headshot on a squishy character as Torb, your turrets gonna finish it off in no time. The turret will be targeting the hero you're doing damage to, so if you can right click on a pharah, launching into the sky in front of you, you'll prob hit at least one or two pellets and now pharahs concerned about the turret targeting her. Echos my biggest issue to deal with most of the time since her ability can destroy my turret, with minimal risk to her. The turret also works as a great alarm system for flanking sombras and tracers that like to push back lines. Get hooked by a hog, immediately use your armor boost, right click the hog. If your teams paying decent attention that hog dies half the time( because hogs big hitbox and right click doing damage per pellet hit), and he gets punished for hooking a Torb. Idk, people hate me but I love my Lil dwarf buddy. And the satisfaction out outhammering the guy who fights with nothing but a hammer while he tried to back away at 10hp behind a shield, worth it. Killing reins with the hammer makes all the hate worth it.
