There is no complexity or conundrum at Spurs. They are performing slightly ahead of their wage bill. Spend £100m per annum more on wages and they will be that much closer. No club will sustain any level of challenge with a £209m Premier League wage bill. Arsenal won't either.

Don't buy it. We're 4th because other teams have also underperformed, but we've botched it plenty of times throughout the year. Southampton the latest, but tons of far worse teams that we should've picked up more points on. And the home game against Milan, anybody with eyes saw how poorly we performed.

We've had no energy far too often, we've played toothlessly far too often, and we're not getting close to what we should out of the roster we have, regardless of what the spend is. I'm sick of commentators literally every match spending half the time talking about how lifeless and hapless Tottenham looks. I wanna see this roster play football for a full 90 minutes before we start complaining about its adequacy (and to be clear, yes, it could be better).
