Thinking about a second job

I worked at a lower volume store starting late December 2019/COVID, just for something to do in the evenings since everything was shut down, 7pm-11pm freight unload. They seemed a little accommodating since I never worked a Friday and there was no weekend freight.

Taking days off requires pre approval weeks in advance, they would constantly deny another coworker and the reason was "Too many people off" when they were the only person on the unload team that was not going to be there. He would just call out regardless.

I was going to quit at the end of 2021 but stayed on until the beginning of June 2022 because I liked working with both freight teams. We shared a lot laughs

Store management/leadership was pretty terrible, professionally and personally.

To sum it all up, I don't miss working there.
