I miss Home Depot. The grass isn't greener on the other side.

I get it and I don't mean it like that. I don't assume you're spoiled. But know that is a common practice at home depot concerning promoting. They will often pass you up at least 3 times to see how you handle rejection. My advice in the post is to take responsibility for whatever happens. So they passed you up, what can you do to make that not happen again? That's what I did. I was in a bad place when I came to the depot. I had tried suicide about 6 months before I got hired. I then read about a man who told himself that if he couldn't change his life in one year by taking ownership of everything that went wrong in his life, even things that were beyond his control, that he would kill himself. He owned everything, even when the weather ruined his day. One year later, he was happy and moving in a better life. I tried the same and I gotta say, it changed everything. Please don't think I'm condemning you. I applaud you for posting it. Now I challenge you to own it.
