Speaking of Ferguson... didn't that cop over there pretty much have his life destroyed? And wasn't he cleared of wrongdoing by both a grand jury and the federal government? Again, you and I live on two totally different realities.
Who applies to be a cop now? "Mentally fucked-up sociopaths" are the prime demographic.
So you're a cop-hater. Can't really reason with people who inherently hate cops to the point that they assume most cops are sociopaths. This sort of defies logic, considering that tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of police interactions happen daily, and the vast majority pan out fine-- oh wait, I'm repeating myself.
The result is a bullying police force that kneels on people's heads as they die, then goes to the press to smirk about it. It ain't working.

The fact of the matter is this: If we treat cops the way you suggest then ANY cop with half a brain (I'm sure you assume there aren't many regardless) will resign and find a better job. We'll be left with nothing but idiots and thugs, then maybe your wild image of cops will actually be accurate.
