Through 20 Games, Lamarcus Aldridge is Averaging Career Highs in both Points per 36 and TS% and the SAS Offense is 7.8 Points Better with Him on the Floor

Yeah I agree and there are two other things specifically with your last point

1) Even though it works for them the Spurs are at a point where they can almost get too dependent on ISO/post up type basketball all around. And that is what LMA loves to do. So if you want to avoid situations wehre LMA is hoisting too much at the expense of others it's predicated on having an entire offensive unit that's more structured, has consistent ball movement and quick decision making across all 5 players. Because if you dont and LMA has chances to hold the ball and play his way and chuck em up god knows he will and would love nothing more.

2) Leonard's biggest weakness in his game right now is passing, specifically making quick decisions. The fact this is both his and LMA's biggest offensive weakness is a big part of why Popovich has gone to more of an ISO ball approach the past 2 years. But if you want to discourage LMA from playing that style, Leonard continuing to show growth as a passer especially out of pick and rolls and being able to hit Aldridge in spots where he can just take a quick efficient shot is crucial.

One way to look at it is Kawhi playing hyper efficient ISO ball does not in any way mean LMA will. In fact if you are too dependent on Kawhi ISO ball even if he excels at it it will hurt LMA in a number of ways.
