Tipping culture in canada.

B.C. and Ontario have decent minimums but Alberta's is shit. I don't know if this is true but I heard it's legal to pay below minimum in Alberta when the employee is below a certain age, 19 I think? Average tip is 15 percent. I wouldn't tip of I was buying something prepackaged but if I was at a restaurant I would. Banff and Jasper are tourist traps so they'll milk you for everything if you let them and Vancouver and Toronto have some of the highest rents in the world, I have no clue how anyone could afford to work minimum wage in Vancouver but I would imagine they'd have to commute 3 hours both ways and be lucky if they'd have 3 dollars in their wallets at the end of the month.
