BM supposedly has to go out of town because a family member is dying. Which means we have SS two extra days and therefore have to miss an event we had tickets for with BS. The event was a big deal because we are broke and never get to do stuff with BS. The bright side is that we wanted SS an extra day anyways.

My bitter and crass attitude comes from the fact that SO recently had a family member die and BM refused to help out with SS for the funeral although she could have, which is one thing since we know better than to expect her to help us, but she also decided to respond to SO informing her of said family member dying with some blatantly mean remarks about his family.

I’m trying to handle things with grace and empathy, but it’s hard. The temptation for us to make a snide remark to her is real but we won’t since we’re not crappy people. Just gonna keep taking the high road and hope she learns how to treat people.
