Trade proposal from Philly sports radio

This is an ex of a trade both teams likely say no to

a) For Philly I posted this separately but people undervalue draft picks(12 of past 25 3rd overall picks have become all stars and this excludes guys like Brad Beal or Joel Embiid who could soon be). That and the Sixers need a franchise generational type superstar if they really want to be the title contender they have tanked so long for. Porzingis is good, I dont think he's that. They need their Steph Curry and the only way to get that is in the draft. Even if the odds are low like 15% of finding him....they still exist and you dont give that up for a guy who isnt that like KP

b) For the Knicks:

If they had faith in their ability to draft well and make use of top picks well this is a good trade to strongly consider. Top 3 pick, a solid shot at a top 7 pick with the Lakers pick next year, Dario Saric. That's a ton of value.

But I dont know if you are the Knicks you have that kind of faith in your ability to draft. That's also a team that needs any kind of young talent they have. To them the gamble is real because the downside of losing KP and not drafting a viable alternative while overblown would decimate that franchise who literally has nothing else to sell and build off of.
