i tried a bunch of classes aswell. mage is the most fun farmer by far. its makes farming into a minigame you play and a constant test of your abilities, concentration and accuracy, rather than a chore. plus there are bunch of variation you can do, safe blizzard farming, or close arcane explosion, mega pulls with block usage, rank1 spells abuse to proc clearcasting, mana management and so on.

pretty much everything that can be slowed can be soloed by a mage. i remeber soloing first guard in dm:n to get some prebis item.

hunter is fun not nessesarily for farming but for soloing various stuff and dungeons, with all the healing gear you can put and heal you pet, various abuses with pet, fd, resets, and kiting. not an aoe farmer at all. obviously hunters farm dm. rather than that it an interesting class to fuck around soloing various shit, and parts of the dungeons.

priest farm holy nova farm is rather boring imo. though you able solo some parts of dungeons due to mind control and pretty much killing mobs by themselfs.
