The user in question never broke any rules. You might argue that by endorsing fascism they were in violation of rule #1, but they never explicitly stated anything racist, transphobic or bigoted. There are neo-fascists that claim their ideology has nothing to do with racism, and while I personally think that's a bullshit cover to excuse their hate, I also don't believe in claiming to understand someone else's beliefs better than they do.

By the way, that user, in addition to being a fascist pig, is also an active and usually positive member of our sub. In the past, they have provided support to others in their time of need, and they have helped build this sub into what it is today. Yes, they do have some incredibly shitty political opinions, but they are one of our trans siblings nonetheless. This sub, more than a communist space, is a trans space.

Downvote me if you will, but I believe this sub is a place of support, and I don't take lightly the act of excluding people from it. In this subreddit, we only ban people in the most extreme of circumstances, and if you don't like that, you can go to /r/transpositive or /r/transgender or one of the other subs where being different means being excommunicated, but that's not what we do here.
