Obeying the "rules of society" actually makes you a functioning member of said society because that's how societies work.

But sure, just keep isolating yourselves with the pretense of protecting some empty ideals so you can keep your fake sense of superiority over the "brainwashed morons" and "sheep", just don't cry about this isolation afterwards. And don't call it "censorship" or even "fascism" because doing so just shows that you have no fucking idea what you are talking about. You brought this onto yourselves; it's no systematic oppression, there is no great evil punishing you brave heroes. It's just the results of your own irresponsible actions, you chose to isolate yourselves just because you couldn't make even the tiniest sacrifice in the name of solidarity - instead imagining yourselves as freedom fighters in your own delusional head when in reality you just picked a particularly pathetic hill to die on. Good luck with that, society will be completely fine without you and historians will just shake their heads in disbelief.
