Trump administration revokes transgender health protection

What's going to happen in the case of a feminine straight man is that everyone will think he's gay and a lot of people will be less than 100% friendly on that basis (which to me is normal), but then when they find out he is straight, or better yet that he just won Player of the Year, and all the champagne classes come out and everyone toasts the fact that they were wrong. This man will be much more liked when people find out he's straight than he was when people thought he was gay. Part of it is "You're one of us now!" I think straights just like people being part of the Straight Club or the Straight Tribe. Not that different from a lot of identity things.

By the way all concerns about the straight man's femininity will go out the window, especially if he's a player. Want to get respect in Straight World? Easy, just fuck a bunch of women! "Oh now that we found out you're a straight stud, just forget about all those femmy issues we had with you."

Something similar might go on with straight tomboys. Nothing wrong with being a tomboy woman because most aren't that masculine anyway. But an out and out butch straight woman, assuming they even exist at all, is the biggest turnoff. We would say,

"Ugh. She's straight but she's so dykey. Yuck."

Straight women are not supposed to look or act like lesbians. Nobody really likes it. It's like,

"Hey if you want to act like that, turn lez and move to Frisco! As long as you're a straight woman, act like one."

People would say the same thing to a straight man.

"Dude! You're straight! Why are you acting like a Goddamned faggot (even non-homophobes would use that word)? If you want to act like that, just turn gay and move to Frisco, man."

People are not against lesbians being butch or gay men being gay. We figure they're supposed to be that way. It's like, dogs bark and cats meow and gay men act effeminate.
